Beeline efficiënt: travel by railbusoprails

Railtransport is safe, compact and fast. Yet improvement is possible. For instance platooning: consider experiments where cars safely drive close to each other like a train (!)… An analog solution seems to be even simpler put into practise on railroad tracks. By enabling trains to follow each other at relative braking distance national and international transport can be done at lower costs.
To mention a few typical aspects in contrast to traditional rail:

  • No signs and signals
  • Shared infrastructure
  • Think beeline
  • High-frequent, high-density and high-speed: replace timetables by frequency promises
  • Profit from cheap & clean electric power
